Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking a Guest Service Representative to greet patients and visitors and help them use arrival kiosks for registration.

The role may include assisting patients getting into and out of vehicles, providing transport, and keeping information pamphlets neatly displayed. You will serve as a friendly, helpful point of contact to promote a safe, satisfactory experience in the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to proactively identify patients and visitors who are in need of Guest Services.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, nursing staff and to perform dispatch functions.
• Ability to function with understanding, empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, family members and visitors who may be undergoing physical and emotional stress.
• Ability to establish and maintain friendly and cooperative relations with employees, patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and assist with kiosks for registration.
• Assist patients getting into and out of automobiles and buses and provide transport services.
• Maintain brochures, pamphlets and literature and ensure they are stocked and neatly displayed for customers’ use.
