Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate with patients and colleagues.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality with patient information.
• Demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in, and ensure admitting follows policies.
• Answer calls and direct to appropriate departments.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Collect copays and deductibles as due at visit.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the EHR and scan documents.
