You will handle calls, appointments, billing basics, and maintain patient confidentiality in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and reliability, with opportunities to grow within a leading dermatology practice partnered with Schweiger Dermatology Group.

Qualifications

• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.
• Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
• Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology/medical environment.
• Open availability to work during office and/or scheduled hours.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Maintain front desk professional image and limit personal cell usage.
• Complete daily checklists and manage scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA; discuss confidential matters privately.
• Assist in creating new medical records and collecting insurance information.
• Handle cash, process charges/payments, and balance end-of-day cash logs.
• Answer calls within three rings and confirm appointments.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area neat and organized.
