Patient Community Outreach Manager - Bilingual - New York City, NY

Join us as a Patient & Community Outreach Manager at LLS Mid-Atlantic Region. This role focuses on implementing strategies to support LLS's goals, including conducting outreach to raise awareness, especially within Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino communities, and connecting patients with support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote LLS as a resource for blood cancer information and support, with cultural sensitivity.
  • Design outreach initiatives and foster community partnerships.
  • Engage volunteers and develop community education programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advance LLS's mission and policy initiatives.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in healthcare outreach, community engagement, and building collaborations in underserved communities.
  • Strong cultural competency and communication skills.

Additional Details:

  • Position may require 50%+ travel, including nights and weekends.
  • Must reside within the region.

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $82,000, commensurate with experience.
