Job summary

Encompass Health in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Van Driver to support patient transportation and assist hospital operations. You will be the friendly face for patients, families, staff, and visitors, helping ensure timely, safe movement throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include operating transportation vehicles safely, performing daily inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with patient transfers as needed. CPR and First Aid training are required or provided.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Training confirmed or provided.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle.
• Must be 25 years of age and have transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates transportation vehicles in a safe manner and complies with traffic laws.
• Maintains appearance of vehicle and promptly reports maintenance needs.
• Performs daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Lifts and transfers patients as needed; ensures safety equipment is used.
• CPR and First Aid readiness to handle patient emergencies.
