Job summary

BioReference Health, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen preparation for diverse patients. You will ensure accurate labeling, proper transport, and specimen integrity while keeping patient comfort a priority.

Requires at least 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, a High School Diploma or GED, and state certification. Strong communication and MS Office skills are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, label specimens and centrifuge as required.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection clearly and courteously.
• Match requisitions to specimens, label, centrifuge, split and freeze as needed.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperature.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and wear PPE appropriately.
• Attend annual department trainings and assist with inquiries.
