Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with cashiers on register.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register and handle cash as required.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist's personal attention.
• Process (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party prescription services.
• Assist in inventory management activities: ordering, unpacking, stocking, and maintaining proper inventories.
