Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Know the trade area, customers, and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor inventory, records, security, scheduling, and equipment operation.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and security.
• Follow procedures for handling products from authorized sources.
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits appropriately.
• Maintain records per policy and Kroger requirements.
• Keep workspace clean, sanitary and organized.
• Handle returns per policy and maintain equipment.
• Update manuals and state laws; ensure staff knowledge.
• Post required signage in all areas.
• Expand personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
• Perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
