Job summary

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a pharmacist committed to delivering quality care to our patients and communities. The role involves accurate dispensing, reading orders, data entry, labeling, and final verification, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will provide patient counseling on prescriptions and OTC medications, support immunization services, and help maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment while meeting the needs of our diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required: Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy
• Immunization certification from an accredited organization
• 1–2 years of pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preform data entry of prescriptions, preparing labels; calculating quantities; counting medications and labeling prescription bottles and completing final verification of prescriptions.
• Anticipates needed medications and supplies by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provide counseling to patients on their prescriptions and OTC medications.

Education

Pharm. D. or BS in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy

Immunization Certification by accredited organization
