Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC is seeking a compassionate Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver to join our team in Virginia. You will transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher between homes, hospitals, and care facilities, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities include operating company vehicles safely, assisting patients in and out of vehicles, maintaining clean vehicles, completing trip logs, and upholding HIPAA and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license for more than 3 years, with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, and maneuver patients and equipment safely (must be able to lift 125 pounds and 250 assisted).
• Must be 21 years of age or older; BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher between homes, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient centers.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles with care and dignity, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Accurately complete trip documentation and patient transport logs.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and customer service standards.
