Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English at a high school level and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must pass Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration exam or be in Pharmacy Technician Trainee status.
• Must have PTCB certification or completion of 2 years of pharmacy school.
• Must know basic IV admixture processes and sterile procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient medication information from home and current pharmacy.
• Create and log patient’s complete home medication list.
• Document vaccination history if available.
