Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures and patient needs. Responsibilities include triage, vitals, blood draws and lab work to ensure efficient, quality care.

Qualified candidates may hold MA, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist, CMA/RMA designations or have 6 months of MA experience; phlebotomy certs are valued. Competitive benefits and schedule available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist or CMA/RMA designation
• Or 6 months MA experience or licensed CNA with phlebotomy
• Phlebotomy certification with 6 months phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals and updating charts
• Blood draws, venipuncture and lab specimen collection
• Administering medications and immunizations under supervision
• Setting up procedures and prepping exam rooms
• Checking in/out patients, verifying insurance and payments
