Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff across sites. You will prepare exam rooms, greet patients, capture vitals, document in the EHR, and help manage referrals and schedules with accuracy.

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant program graduate, HS diploma, and English proficiency; BLS preferred. The role requires travel to satellite offices when needed, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• English language communication skills required; BLS preferred.
• Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and assist physicians and PAs/NPs.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate patient records.
• Document vitals and update medication lists in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments and handle referrals in PMS/EHR.
