Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant- Provider Physicians North to provide administrative and clinical support in a busy primary care setting in Columbus, OH.

The role is full-time and on-site, with standard hours and potential start-time variations to accommodate clinic needs. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the clinical team, collect vital signs, draw blood, perform routine specimen collection, and assist with examinations and patient education

Qualifications

• Education, Licensure & Certifications as listed: HS diploma, MA program graduation, MA certification preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities include clear communication, confidentiality, and ability to document in EHR.
• Ability to obtain medical history, measure vitals, and assist in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with the clinical care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Foster direct communication among care team, patient, and providers to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with team to address gaps in care (chart prep).
• Promote improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Assist with vaccinations, specimen collection, injections, and point-of-care tests.
