Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry operations for patients in a post-acute care setting. You will ensure laundry needs are met in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and healthcare experience (preferred). You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, maintaining professionalism and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day laundry functions including collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
