Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior health care experience preferred
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
• Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Competency in patient rights, safety and sanitation
• Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism per Life Care's Code of Conduct

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day laundry tasks: collect, sort, iron, fold, stack, hang, distribute
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward patients
• Assist in evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable attendance
• Use reasoning and good judgment
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach and move as required
• Read, write, speak and understand English
