Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform day-to-day laundry services ensuring patients’ laundry needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, support a clean environment, and collaborate with nursing and housing teams to ensure patient comfort and facility operations. High school diploma preferred; prior health care experience preferred is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day laundry functions including: collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
