Responsibilities include verifying demographics and insurances, updating EMR, collecting copays, and maintaining daily payment processes. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with six months related experience; CMA certification

Qualifications

• Six months related experience and / or training required or preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet Patients
• Verify patient demographics and insurances
• Update any changes in EMR (patient’s account)
• Scan insurance card(s)
• Collect and post copays/payments
• Schedule appointments
• Follow up appointment telephone requests
• Walk In pts
• New Patients go to New Patient Scheduler
• Reschedule cancelled appointments
• Cross train new front desk personnel
