Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Nebraska license.
• Requires knowledge of technical nursing procedures.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical nursing care through interviews, assessments and vital signs.
• Administers medications topically, orally, injection or intravenous as ordered by the physician.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures per protocol.
• Arranges diagnostic procedures and obtains prior authorizations.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and monitors equipment.
• Maintains appropriate records and assists with coding and patient charges.
