Job summary

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, documentation, patient education, and coordination across the care team to improve outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience, with preferred direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using analytical and critical thinking to deliver personalized care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and adapts to patient needs.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely, promoting safety and quality.
• Coordinate care delivery across the team, supporting performance improvement initiatives and research activities.
• Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, clinical research, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
