Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Standards of Practice RN guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice; perform nursing care using the nursing process.
• Ethics and professional performance aligned with ANA and YNHHS standards; collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Provide patient-centered care and communicate effectively with patients, families and health care team while ensuring safety and compliance with professional practice models.
