Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients at a Navos Behavioral Health clinic in Burien, WA. The role involves front desk duties, greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling, and basic billing tasks, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

The position requires customer service experience and either a high school certificate or related healthcare certification; relevant certificates may substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience, or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration.
• Process charges, payments and refunds; batch balancing and cash reconciliation.
• Operate basic office equipment and maintain front desk workflow.
