Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is seeking a Patient Catering Coordinator to coordinate patient meal service across units under Nutrition management. You will ensure staff are trained, meals meet diet orders, and service runs on time.

This 80-hours bi-weekly, full-time role requires 3–4 years in a related field, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong reading and math skills. You will collaborate with Nursing and Dietitians to deliver quality patient nourishment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience; acceptable in lieu of minimum education.
• 3–4 years of experience in a related field (Required).
• Able to read and perform basic math calculations.
• Reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with Nursing and Dietitians regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements.
• Assists and supports all areas of the Nutrition department.
• Distributes workload with Catering Associates when understaffed or when a unit has high patient load.
• Accurately inputs patient registration information, updates insurance and demographic data, charges, coding, and payments.
• Ensures staff are trained and units are properly staffed.
