TriHealth is seeking a dedicated Meal Service Employee responsible for ensuring quality food service for patients. This role includes meal preparation, service, and communication with dietitians to address patient needs. Ideal candidates will have a high school degree and experience in food service, prioritizing customer satisfaction and adherence to sanitation standards.

This position is responsible for patient meal service, menu selections, process menus, tray assembly, tray delivery and pickup, disassembling of dirty trays, food preparation, addressing special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery, cleanliness of trayline stations and equipment, and restocking trayline. The role also involves communicating and addressing patient food issues/concerns with area dietitians and nutrition supervisors, and assisting dietitians with fluid intakes.
The candidate should be familiar with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within diet order guidelines, food allergies, and other restrictions. The position requires delivering quality service that reflects positively in internal or external patient satisfaction surveys on the assigned unit.
The outlined tasks may not be exclusive, and additional daily tasks may be assigned by the reporting manager. Specific job routines with designated times will be provided.
