Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maryland Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Completion of an approved training program or equivalent on-the-job training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and specimens.
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs and tracheal suctioning.
• Provide comfort measures and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with patient positioning and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and prepare equipment.
• Document accurately and maintain records.
• Participate in staff orientation and ongoing education.
• Provide post-mortem care and initiate CPR when necessary.
