Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows established plan of patient care.
• Assists with admission, transfer, discharge and transportation of patients.
• Measures and records vital signs as instructed by the nurse.
• Assists with bathing, perineal care, mobility and comfort.
• Maintains clean, safe, and orderly unit; stocks supplies.
• Documents observations and patient information in the medical record.
