Nutex Health seeks a Patient Care Technician-2 to deliver direct patient care and support to clinical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and help with mobility under supervision.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and able to work in a team.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing, including blood, urine, and other samples.
• Support patient comfort and safety by providing basic nursing care under supervision.
• Help with patient positioning, turning, and mobility to prevent pressure ulcers and promote healing.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and equipment.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding patients and ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
• Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Assist with medical procedures and equipment setup as directed by nursing staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the delivery of excellent patient care.
