Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe environment.
• Record and report vital signs and patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, linen changes, mobility, and hygiene tasks.
• Support patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring; report results.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
• Maintain infection control and PPE compliance.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and risk management.
• May provide continuous observation as required.
• Perform other duties and maintain attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
