Job summary

Intermountain Health at Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mount Pleasant, Utah seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under licensed supervision and may take on Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, telemetry, documentation, and collaboration with RNs. Ideal candidates hold a CNA in Utah, BLS, and solid computer literacy; strong communication and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Record and report patient data in a timely manner.
• Assist with telemetry duties and monitor patients.
• Transport medications to RN on unit.
• Collaborate with RN and care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May perform health unit coordinator tasks as needed.
• Uphold safety and comply with policies during emergencies.
