Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide essential nursing support under RN guidance. You will sanitize rooms, monitor patient health, assist with feeding and grooming, and ensure patient comfort while maintaining accurate care documentation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility in a dynamic hospital environment, with preferred BLS certification and relevant nursing aide training.

Qualifications

• Nurse aide training program or equivalent
• STNA/CNA certification or equivalent clinical nursing experience
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and comfort under supervision
• Monitor vital signs and assist with daily activities
• Liaise between patient and nurse to report changes
• Deliver high-quality patient service to patients and families
• Document care accurately and timely
• Assist with patient transfers using safe techniques
