Job summary
Bon Secours Mercy Health's Lourdes Hospital seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff by delivering basic patient care, observing vital signs and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications
- Requires nursing aide training OR STNA/CNA/certified nurse aide.
- BLS certification preferred prior to direct patient care.
- Experience in acute care or related settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, personal care and mobility.
- Reports changes to nurse and communicates with the team.
- Delivers high-level customer service to patients and visitors.
- Documents care accurately and timely in patient records.
- Assists with hand-off information upon arrival and departure.
- Performs delegated tasks after competency validated.
- Mobilizes patients using safe transfer techniques.
