Job summary

HonorHealth is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Telemetry Unit in Phoenix. You will perform patient care tasks under a licensed caregiver and assist with vital signs, daily living activities, and documentation.

This full-time day-shift role involves 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with 3-12 hour shifts and self-scheduling for weekend coverage. Weekend and holiday rotations are required, with shift differentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Block 1 in Nursing or MA or CNA or EMT or BHT, or 6 months healthcare experience is required.
• BLS certification is required; CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Assists with vital signs, daily living activities, and medication tracking as directed.
• Maintains accurate medical record documentation for care delivered and communicates changes to the licensed caregiver.
