Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the hospital resource/float pool on nights. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under supervision, support telehealth encounters, and assist with equipment, supplies, and safe unit operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of medical terminology. You will collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs and participate in virtual safety and remote exams when required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care in a team setting.
• Ability to complete delegated tasks within scope of role.
• Experience with telehealth or remote monitoring is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with the interprofessional team, patient, family and care partners.
• Perform designated direct and indirect patient care activities under licensed supervision.
• Promote a safe patient care environment and maintain supplies for unit operations.
• Conduct patient rounds and respond quickly to call lights or pages.
• May support virtual safety and telehealth encounters as needed.
• Assist in clinical exams using peripheral devices and telehealth software.
