Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PRN) at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct and supportive patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality care.

Preferred candidates have a CNA or PCT certification in the state, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Part-time; on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
• CNA or PCT certification in state of practice is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice.
• Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care.
