Job summary

Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform routine tasks, observe patient conditions, and report changes to the RN to support safe, quality care.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, POCT, and assisting with activities of daily living while maintaining patient comfort. BLS certification is required; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• BLS Certification required.
• Prior direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care following policies to ensure safety and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the RN.
• Perform skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in activities of daily living and maintain patient hygiene and vitals.
