You should have a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and relevant certificates (CPT, CNA, EMT, CMA). Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. This role emphasizes communication and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• CPT, CNA, EMT or CMA certificates are preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Nurse with ADL (activities of daily living) needs.
• Communicate and document patient status for care coordination.
• Promote exceptional customer service with patients and families.
• Participate in continuing education programs, surveys and staff meetings.
• Follow hospital policies supporting performance improvement in patient care.
