Join Dell Children's Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Pediatric Respiratory.

Schedule & Location

• Part Time, 24 hrs/week. Nights 6:45pm-7:15am, or Days 6:45am-7:15pm, including weekends and some holidays.
• Location: 4900 Mueller Blvd, Austin, Texas 78723-3051

Responsibilities

1. Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
2. Aid with movement and positioning of patients.
3. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
4. Report changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
5. Document necessary records accurately.
6. Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

• Licensure/Certification: BLS Provider within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience. Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education/experience if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Healthcare background preferred.
