Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Roles include full-time, part-time and per diem with night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and rotating every other weekend.

Opportunities across departments will be discussed during recruitment. You will provide compassionate patient care, monitor vitals, assist with activities and procedures, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.

The Patient Care Technician Wil l:

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
