Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking Patient Care Technicians for multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA. These roles cover nights with varied schedules and both full-time, part-time and per diem options.

Ideal candidates will provide compassionate care, monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with nurses to maintain safe, high-quality patient care. A HS diploma and BLS CPR are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• PCT training or CNA training is preferred.
• At least one year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.

The Patient Care Technician Will:
