Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Works under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform duties of a PCT, including assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients’ progress and prepares reports for medical staff.
• Obtains and records vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measures and records patients' intake/output, assists with range of motion, and draws blood.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support certification
• Competent to perform in at least two general practice areas, cross-trained to cover multiple hospital roles.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification or current enrollment in nursing school
• Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care
• Proficiency in phlebotomy preferred
