The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably have experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant. A certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required within the first 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a medical assistant, nursing assistant, or patient care technician preferred.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) course within 90 days from employment or proof of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Assist patients with their care needs and protect their rights and dignity.
• Monitor vital signs and notify the nurse of changes in patient status.
