Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the night shift on a part-time basis. The role includes patient care, vital signs, mobility support, phlebotomy, EKG testing, and specimen collection under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required and one of the listed certifications or training programs.
• Certifications include CNA, NCMA, NCPCT or equivalent hospital corps/EMT programs.
• Current student in a clinical program with RN/LPN/RT/PT completed coursework is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor patients, document conditions, and report changes to the nurse.
• Take vital signs and assist with mobility and ambulation.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
• Conduct EKG testing and assist with IV removal as needed.
