Shift: 40 hours per week. A combination of two 12 and two 8 hour shifts each week with rotating weekends and holidays. Must be able to work the following: 7PM – 7AM, 11PM – 7AM, 3PM – 11PM.
The GI Surgical Oncology Unit is a 32-bed, post-operative, medical-surgical unit serving patient from 18-80 years old. Surgeries may include but are not limited to the following: whipple, colon resections, liver resections and small bowel resection.
Function: Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope: Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
Essential Job Functions:
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Preferred: One year of patient care experience.
Licensure/Certification Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
