Shift: 40 hours per week. A combination of two 12 and two 8 hour shifts each week with rotating weekends and holidays. Must be able to work the following: 7PM - 7AM, 11PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM.
The GI Surgical Oncology Unit is a 32-bed, post-operative, medical-surgical unit serving patient from 18-80 years old. Surgeries may include but are not limited to the following: whipple, colon resections, liver resections and small bowel resection.
Function: Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope: Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.
