The GI Surgical Oncology Unit is a 32-bed post-operative medical-surgical unit serving patients aged 18-80. Surgeries include, but are not limited to, Whipple procedures, colon resections, liver resections, and small bowel resections.
Function: Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.
Scope: Impacts patient comfort and outcomes of care.
