Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the SPAH 5A Ortho Joint/Spine Unit. You will provide patient care under nurse supervision and assist with admissions and discharges while adhering to safety protocols.

The role is full-time days, 7am–7pm with every other weekend. Requires a high school diploma; BLS within 90 days; health-care experience preferred; base pay ranges with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes and ensure patient safety.
• Observe patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report changes to the nurse.
