Baptist Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferred CNA program completion or nursing assistant experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or Health Occupations Program (HOSA) preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of patient care experience in an acute care, nursing home or home care setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
• Support routine and non-complex duties within scope of role.
• Assist with activities of daily living and monitor patient vitals as directed.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols.
