Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including helping with ADLs and activities of daily living.
• Assists with procedures and therapies and reports changes to the RN.
• Performs core nursing assistant tasks (blood glucose, weights, vital signs, I&O, specimen collection) and additional skills as needed.
• Maintains equipment and communicates with other departments to ensure smooth unit operation.
• Documents in the medical record following established procedures and timelines.
• Supports safety, patient comfort, and professional conduct on the unit.
