Make an Impact with Baystate Health Baystate Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our Medical Surgical at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, Massachusetts. Our Medical Surgical unit is a 46-bed unit includes telemetry and intermediate care and provides care for the emergency department’s overflow. Nurses are cross trained to provide coverage in telemetry, IMC and the ED for this reason, making this a great opportunity for a new nurse looking to gain experience in multiple specialties. Baystate Wing Hospital is a 74-bed community hospital in Palmer, Massachusetts, fully accredited by the Joint Commission and designated a Primary Stroke Service hospital by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The Patient Care Technician role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while gaining hands‑on clinical experience and building a strong foundation for career growth in healthcare while working alongside a collaborative care team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.

The Patient Care Technician Will:

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum $17.01 - $21.57 - $28.08
