Job summary

Temple-Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Maternity unit at the Women's and Family Campus. The role covers 16 hours per week on the Day Shift (7am-3:30pm), providing both direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and venipuncture experience; additional Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant training or EMT/Nursing clinical background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant training or equivalent.
• EMT training or Nursing 101 clinical rotation preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN guidance.
• Implement components of the plan of care and perform procedures related to basic needs and safety.
• Assist with vital signs, ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement and other care tasks as assigned.
